Stela Prodanovic
Stela Prodanovic, a marketing and public relations specialist based in Switzerland, wants to live her life to the fullest. “Since I was a little girl, I wanted to explore the world,” she says. “I’ve managed to visit over 40 countries so far. I try to live my dream and do as many wonderful things as I can,” she says. She is also an avid climber, with a passion for “climbing high mountains and testing myself on mixed terrain (rock and ice). She recently decided to combine her passion with “an old dream” – to explore South America – and set off on her adventure. “I decided to buy a Hilleberg Nallo 2, and off we went, first to Patagonia,” she says. “So far, I have been traveling for almost 9 months and I probably spent at least 3 months in my Nallo 2. We had some beautiful sunny days on our adventures, but also survived winds, rains, snow and cold. We went hiking through Torres del Paine circuit, hiked around Fitz Roy in El Chalten, further up in forests of El Bolson, and on the Salkantay trek, where I could pitch my Nallo on Llactapata, with a wonderful view of Machu Picchu and surrounding mountains. It also came with me to the Condoriri Base Camp and will shortly join me on treks to some other base camps from where I can reach more high mountains and glaciers. While on the Salkantay trek, I got a bit unlucky. Some dogs decided to have a fight – on my tent. The rear pole was broken into 7 pieces, but luckily the outer tent was not damaged. I continued to Huaraz, Peru, where I contacted Hilleberg, asking if they could somehow send me a new pole. That’s when I was a witness to probably the best customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I got an immediate answer from the Hilleberg team. Not even a couple of hours later, the FedEx® package was on the way. Now it’s not only my tent that I love, I love everything about this brand. I know that the tent will not let me down and I also know, that if anything goes wrong, the Hilleberg team is on standby to help make it possible for my adventure to go on. My friends say it’s a tent for a lifetime. I’m already very excited and looking forward to our many new adventures.”
